Appreciate you and the video so much bro, you literally saved myself and small family hundreds and potentially over a thousand dollars if I had taken it to a mechanic. I am mechanically minded and know all the basics and some more intermediate stuff, but not like a qualified mechanic, so when I thought I could not hear my fuel pump priming I started to look everywhere for the fuel pump relays to check first, and no mechanic here could help me over the phone and I could not even see it in any diagram on the net etc. So thanks again mate, you're an absolute legend, this is why Youtube is great, take care and all the best from Aus 👍👌

Fundamentals 101, always test power and ground to component.
There is nothing wrong with crimp connectors using a ratchet type quality crimper and heat shrink. Cold solder joints and solder wicking up the cable can result in reliability issues, all qualified mechanics and electricians are trained to solder correctly, however crimp connectors rule.
For the solder fanatics out there crimp connecters are used in aviation repair.

Hi Matt, do you remember the location of the fuel pump relay fuse? I want to V drop test my starter circuit by disabling the pump sum how, thanks 👍

Cheers wondered where it was👍how you could of easily been duped by a shop to change the pump!
In hindsight could you of jumped relay base 30 87 to verify load side being good? Instead of going underneath and working back from there? subbed
