Wow. You have a lot of saab videos. I just bought a new civic cause my Saab has a blown head gasket. It's my first car and I'm don't want to get rid of it. Was thinking about making it my project car but wasn't sure if the work was gonna be too much. I'm gonna watch some more of your videos and reach out to you for help/advice. Common issue on the 2.8 v6. Shame. Good regular maintenance is the key to a healthy saab. Otherwise most are abused. 💪😎👍

You can tell if it was blow if it doesn’t crank like usual.

Those aftermarket caps on the coolant tank will not hold pressure. I see these thrown on these engines all the time and they always cause coolant to seep out.

You would think you’d start at the starter, this looks like an overhauled to me…
