Good video. Nice easy basic instructions. You do not have to follow the firing order, you can work your way down each bank, just have to rotate engine (alot of people will go 90 degrees and do it as per the firing order) but if you are keen and comfortable with doing it 1 bank at a time, then just a little more rotation in order to work your way down the Pass or Driver side (It's all in whatever you are comfortable with, but the procedure in doing it does not change!). Great video.

Use a Solid Lifter to show how to adjust solid lifter. At 2:33 you can see the hydraulic lifter collapsing with the insert of feeler gauge.

Have a small block chevy (383) stroker. Has a pretty wild solid lifter roller cam. I have no cam card. Is there anyway to no where I should set lifters at without card?

you arent stating if you are adjusting the intake or exhaust. in #1 position you can adjust other vales while in that position. if you are doing this on a cold engine you need to add.002 or when engine comes to temp you will be to tight.

Yeah, let me add one thing. Since nobody has x-ray vision, I recommend
that you have a harmonic balancer tape glued and sprayed with clear
paint to your balancer for PERFECT VALVE ADJUSTMENT.... No guessing when
you THINK the valve is just 1/4 open or closed. If you bump or turn
your motor over with a wrench on the harmonic balancer, then you will
know EXACTLY when your valves are open or closed. That is the proper way
to adjust valves, whether they are solid or rollers. NO GUESSING GAME
LIKE THESE FOOLS ARE TELLING YOU. It's your motor, and if you want to
bend pushrods and break valves, then just follow their instructions, and
you WILL replace your cam, lifters, pushrods and valves... It's your
car and money. I repeat, the ONLY WAY TO KNOW WHEN THE VALVE IS OPEN OR
CLOSED is to look at the mark on your balancer when it is on the intake
stroke or exhaust stroke. Then your adjustment will ALWAYS be perfect,
not HALF-ASSED... If you disagree with me, don't curse me out!!! Ask a
professional builder of motors! Don't take my word for it. It is just
common sense that nobody can guess the exact time a valve is open or
closed by just bumping a motor over without checking the exact time of
valve and lifter movement, without looking at the marks on the
balancers.

Thats wrong way, the lifter will still be on the ramp.if you don't have a chart for the proper order to do it easy way have to rotate motor til valve you want to adjust is at max lift then rotate motor one full revolution, then using a feeler gauge thats only as wide as the valve stem slowly tighten down while turning the pushrod when you feel it just hitting your there and if your new go over it again til your sure they are close as you can get them. o an thats one revolution on the damper !mark it if you feel you need to.Roberts way won't even be close.
