I managed to do a complete walkthrough on the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook after having spent a decent amount of time with it (albeit only in my apartment). Regardless, here's all the Galaxy Chromebook specs, photo samples, features, and more. Check it out.

I have Pixelbook Go and even though there is a slight learning curve, it does everything you need for office work.

I have been using Chromebooks for years as my home computing solution. Right now we have 3 Chromebooks that are helping us get through the stay at home guidelines we are dealing with . I recently got the Pixel Stale i5 on sale for $599 and love it. I use it over my Lenovo PC from work. Chrome OS has grown over the years and can do the vast majority of the things most people need.

I got mine in 2023 for $200. Absolutely love it. Best Chromebook out there after Google stopped making Pixelbooks. The battery issue doesn't affect me.

Unfortunately, I’m viewing this walkthrough post-purchase. Fortunately, I chose well. This is my first chromebook and I absolutely love it! No buyers remorse here. I primarily used Apple devices, but there were things I needed done that Apple could not do, thus my need for a chromebook. After watching this, I am reassured that I made a good purchase. Thank you!

I got mine in 2020 & red version. Also, yes, I did pay full price but if you can get it cheaper, go for this one! I didn't realize just how much is packed into it, 3 years later & there are still features I haven't used yet... Not crazy about how fast the battery drains & how hot it gets, but I knew that when I bought it. I also have the HP desktop for programs that you can't run on this device that's 'just Chrome', the laptop is mainly for when I'm out on the couch at night surfing the web. We've taken this on 3 vacations with us & it is the perfect size & weight. I hardly use the pen at all so I love that it stoes away where you don't even see it so it's totally out of the way. The volume could be better but I also have a Bluetooth speaker that we take with us if we want a better sound. I do love that I can link my phone to it for messages & especially texting because I've always hated texting on my phone. The 'red' was also a big selling point ;) Yes, I would most certainly recommend getting this one. You can have/keep the keyboard backlit, just hit the brighter of the light buttons + Alt.

Watching this with my Samsung Chromebook Pro from 3 years ago. It's been a great Chromebook with excellent screen. For my need, I'd pick a chromebook over any Windows computer. I'd pay extra for premium screen since that's the main thing I look at everyday. My wife has Surface Pro and still use my chromebook on a regular basis due to ease of use.

I want everyone on here reading this to know to utilize Samsung's trade in program. I literally just purchased this new Chromebook in red for $643.33 (tax included) how you ask ? Simply traded in my Samsung S6 Tablet from early this year Samsung gave me $400 plus had an additional $6.45 in Rewards so used that too. It's a really good solution for cost to performance savings. Great review Unlockr I would include their trade program in future videos just a thought 🙏👏
Cant wait until mine gets here May 15th

I just bought my wife the new iPad Pro with the 2nd generating Apple pencil. I'm a Samsung guy do I'm looking for something like the Chrome book. I'm also trying to wait for Samsung to make a more powerful laptop. Great video. Get that ☕ in the morning I get it too. Stay safe brother.

On Chromebooks the keyboard backlight control can be adjusted by holding Alt and using the display brightness buttons

To control the back-lighting have you tried "alt" and the brightness keys - that's usually how it works on a Chromebook?

The s pen is a great feature for this kind of laptop, wish I could get this in my country.

You can control the backlighting by pressing Alt-Brightness Keys above 7 and 8.

Appreciate the same review as the release. Been waiting for someone to go through it, before I decided if I was going to shell out the $ for it.

Best walkthrough of the product so far.

Another great video. For the money, I would probably go for a Windows laptop but I really would like a premium Chromebook like the Pixelbook. I really like the capability of a 2 in 1.

Also, press Alt and the brightness up and down keys to adjust backlight on keys

You missed the Linux apps support. Chrome os support many linux apps(most of apps except Desktop environment). You can write program using IDEs, edit photos using GIMP etc. Or, even use a VM with windows/Wine for linux for running windows apps,
