What is the best option to stay logged in? every time I reload the app it takes me to login.

I just want to ask if the app icon in asset folder is working properly in expo 49+ version, cause I watched a bit old tutorial of how to change the icon and tried to change that, but nothing was updated in the simulator. I wonder if I did anything wrong or it's a problem of current version of SDK
