If your here as a parent wondering if you should get your child a vr headset? Well! This is the comment for you!

VR HEADSETS themselves are safe, the games are to be determined.
I wouldn’t suggest VRCHAT for anyone younger than 16, I wouldn’t suggest rec room for anyone under 13 and among us VR for all ages.
There should be parenting settings to ensure your child IS safe and i think if I’m correct there’s also time limiters parents can set. Oculus headsets are the best “safe” headsets for parents, you do not need a PC, it can be connected to your Facebook ETC.

VR and AR IS the future wether you like it or not. Welcoming it or rejecting it is your choice but it will not change the future. If you do not show it to your child they’ll figure it out themselves. For better or for worse.

The age limit is just for legal reasons. This is a few years old new study's show vr is good for childern over 5 just make sure it's not to scary or bad of a game. And keep the headset on them for less then 2 hours at a time. Make sure the kids stay hydrated too.

News make everything terrible. It’s fine. Kids that use it are fine. I’ve seen a 4, 5 year old kid use an HTC Vive and it was fine.
