Personally i prefer older flagship phones cause I dont like the big bezels but these phones are getting better and better

There’s a weird bug on this phone where if you had 100+ SMS, the phone slows to a crawl. My dad has one of these and he received a lot of scam SMS, which is an issue in my country. The phone felt slow, and deleting them sped it up immediately to like new condition. Also, the A05 is $75 in my country, while the A05s is still around $125. So the A05 makes sense in my market.

They're not bad for what they are. Samsung's A series is facing a lot of really good competition from Chinese manufacturers. If you're not worried about Android updates I'd take a look at what other options are out there.

No problem at all...except they lag sooner than costlier phones (dk if thats intentional or just better chips). When the phones are new, definitely looks good

I think either phone would've suited my needs. Sadly I don't believe either has edge panels available. I'm still rocking the A03 from a couple years back and I like that it has edge panels. I wished either of these had edge panels.

I have one and I'm using it as my daily phone. So far it runs well for me as a student. I use it for light use only, like social media, watching movies, etc. I also play games like Asphalt and it is very playable to me as I am not really a gamer myself. I never play heavy games like Genshin, etc. So, yeah, it gets my work done, just don't expect much for the camera quality especially video recording, then you'd be fine.

I’m iPhone only since 4S. Yeah. When we thought the S meant For Steve (or maybe just me)
Anyway, Android intrigues me.
But I’ve got no idea where to start. These look ok, but I think even the S would end up not getting used as compared to my iPhone 15 it would lose out on every measurable category.
So, where to look, and what to try?
You very briefly mentioned 15. But I don’t know what that is.

I would go with A15, 5G yes its from 2023
5G, never Bluetooth standard, AMOLED screen, benchmark score higher, higher battery score, gyro-EIS,

My mom has the A03s and it's pure garbage!! Her A01 was a lot better. But still junk. I keep telling her to buy the A15. But she doesn't understand how phone technology works. Great video 💯

I have an A05s with 6 GB of RAM as a backup phone. It's great for watching Tiktok live videos because the height of the screen is better than my iPhone 14 Pro Max and I can see more comments on the screen. That's where its advantages stop though, it's slow, laggy when switching apps or doing pretty much anything, the cameras are awful, the mono speaker is awful. I know I'm comparing it to a flagship here but even my 2018 Pixel 3 XL which was my old backup, had way better specs, a better camera, is still snappier to this day. It just stops on Android 12 and doesn't get any software updates. The battery on the A05s is fine and lasts a whole day (or more) easily and I find the screen to be plenty bright enough.
