Sony is the definition of "he's a little confused, but he's got the spirit" when it comes to phones

The problem with Sony's phone is that by the time they arrive on the stores, the competition may have a new model already. Yep they are very slow on logistics their phone to the stores.

Since Sony aren't really popular in the smartphone department, i feel like that gives them the freedom to try more ambitious stuff. I owned a sony xperia phone back in the day and it was an amazing phone. Hope they do something big in the near future.

Sony Xperia forte is in its manual setting. They are not meant for automatic or point and shoot mode. They are for people who wanted to experience "professional camera" at the same time being creative in some ways.

The fact that they have an SD card slot, a headphone jack, an innovative zoom and very clever specs is why I love Sony smartphones.

20 years ago, who would have ever thought we would be describing Sony's phone department as a small/niche team considering the consumer electronics behemoth they once were (and still are with the Playstation and cameras).

Sony's been in the business a long time, I genuinely hope this is the start of them finally becoming competative.

As a person who likes to tweak settings... I kinda like the idea of all the cameras on the Xperia having their own setting menus.
The AI and auto tuned cameras in modern phones should have redundant manual option modes. _(all the options, not the limited stuff that look like them)_
One of my biggest issues is that with all the pixels in these new cameras, most of it is noise, the end result no better than a professional 1-3MP shot.
So in most cases good enough, and fast, but they could be much better.

Personally, I have been very frustrated with newer smartphone cameras moving away from camera-like interfaces and function, and I like that Sony is using a more photographer-focused UI that leaves the editing to the user.

I love my sony mark 4. Sometimes, taking the camera brain out of the phone software and putting it into the input of the user is a big plus depending on who you ask. Me myself prefer the more manual experience, which is why I love my Sony phones, plus a headphone Jack, SD card port, things phones these days have forgotten about. Maybe I just want to take all my photos move it to SD card and plug that into my computer to dump it onto a massive 8tb HDD… with this phone i can and I have

I bought a Sony Xperia III, since I wanted to support the underdog. Man, the headphone jack came in handy a few times. And the screen without a hole punch is...awesome. I love it. I want Sony to succeed, so I put my money where my ideals were. No regrets!

When LG ceases to release updates for my V60, this may be an enticing upgrade for me. While I'm unsure if any other phone on the market will ever match and/or incorporate the complexity and attention to the audio playback like the V series, I'm all about hanging onto the headphone jack as long as I can!

I just bought the S22 Ultra, upgraded from an S9+. I've only just heard about this Sony phone and while I certainly wouldn't swap it, I really want to try it out. Headphone jack, SD CARD, that is big thing, I want an SD card. It's display is 4k, more than the Ultra. It's processor is Snapdragon, which is apparently better than my Exynos Ultra. If I had money I'd buy both.

5:16 absolutely phenomenal how you ended the burst shots at *69*

I really wish phone companies would stop this stupid trend of giving less things in the box, especially when they're keeping the prices of the phones more or less similar. It really cheapens the experience of buying something that's supposed to be the top of the line, end all be all product of the company.

The thing about the image quality which is explained fairly well in this video, but not well enough is that the phone itself is meant for professional use, they don't focus on the utomatic features of the camera, because learning how to use the manual settings is quite easy on this phone, AND once you learn to use them, it competes with the iPhone 13 Pro Max easily! The potential in this phone is so much bigger than most people see, and Sony will definitely become much bigger now!

At 6:25 the photo comparisons between the two cameras, I felt that the Sony Xperia images were consistently better, in every way other than reducing lens flare.
