People criticize Germany and especially the leading party of the last four legislature periods, the CDU, for quitting nuclear energy and putting all chips on Russian gas but they don't remember the massive protests in 2011 after Fukushima that demanded the end of nuclear energy in Germany. And now we import nuclear energy from France.

The party that is the worst for Germany - the greens - is the best for Poland. Poland hates gas, especially russian one.

Guess what? German reliance today on Norwegian gas isn't so popular in Norway. It is viewed as a reason for high energy prices. We export gas to Europe and import high energy prices in return. We actually manage to supply ourselves fine with our hydro power, but Europe's supply problems are creeping north. The good thing is the extra revenue the Oil Fund receives

Basically what she is saying is that they are trying to create more competition in the energy industry in order to encourage companies and the nations they are within to be more cooperative and fair in order to ensure they are purchased from…. Which is completely correct and is a good way to deal with Russia.

Just invest and do R&D in renewables and nuclear technology, mostly in renewables. Also, Solar panels are becoming more cheaper and energy efficient.
