Pyramids: Were they built by an Advanced Civilization?

Were the pyramids built by Aliens or a civilization with advanced technology, which some "journalists" would have you believe. Or if you have been watching Graham Hancock's Netflix series you may have questions. And so here I present the academic truth about the pyramids, mastabas, and irrigation. All which evolved from early stone working.

People just do not (or CAN not) understand how long civilization in ancient Egypt thrived and how much time passed between building all these monuments. And they also often think egyptian, mesoamerican and southeast asian pyramid-like structures were all built around the same time, when in reality they were built thousands (!) of years apart.

Talking about aliens is von Daniken not Hancock, the age argument is based on the Sphinx not the pyramids and that comes from a geologist not Hancock 🤷

In their book "The Dawn Of Everything", authors Wengrow and Graeber argue that the agricultural revolution did not work at all as linear as you describe it here, but a rather chaotic, back-and-forth process, citing quit some archeological evidence. They also argue that hierarchies such as in pharanoic Egypt were not, in fact, the norm. What do you think of their work from a mythology point of view?

Could you please explain why there are no inscriptions, paintings, or decorations of any kind within the Great Pyramid? This is contrary to the tombs of other pharaohs, including ones you cite in this video. For one to order the building of such a colossal structure as your tomb signifies a very high opinion of oneself. However, the only place in the entire pyramid where that pharaoh's name can be found is on a stone block out of view in a relieving chamber. That seems blatantly contradictory to such an ego. Why is there no ancient Egyptian documentation of how they built the pyramids of Giza? What and where are the tools they used? Where does it even show the Dynastic Egyptians claiming to have built the Giza pyramids in the first place?
I fully believe ancient people built the Great Pyramid, no aliens required. The current academic THEORY you present in this video is founded on weak circumstantial evidence and has not been proven as rock solid fact(pun intended). Presenting it with such certainty and disdain for Hancock is a disservice to your subscribers and other viewers.

I love these 5-10 min videos.
I believe 12 minutes is the sweet spot for YouTube to increase your...points or whatever the algorythm uses.
This being said, some subjects can't possibly be discussed in under 30 minutes, and your storytelling requires time.

I don't feel like you addressed Hancock's claims at all. You basically just given the standard academic answer present in elementary school textbooks and then said it wasn't aliens, which is not something Hancock ever claimed as far as my knowledge of his work goes.

There is some good analysis that highly suggests its a form of concrete on the outer shell similar to roman concrete. (using diatomaceous earth as an ingredient)
