How Egypt Built the Pyramid World Wonders - Egyptology Pyramid Construction by Ancient Egyptians
The Great Pyramids of Giza are among the most amazing man-made monuments in history. They were built when Egypt was one of the world's wealthiest and most influential civilizations. The king, or Pharaoh, occupied a unique role in ancient Egyptian civilization, as reflected by their enormous scale. Although the construction of pyramids peaked in the late third dynasty and lasted until about the sixth century B.C., they were actually constructed from the beginning of the Old Kingdom until the end of the Ptolemaic period in the fourth century B.C. (c. 2325 B.C.). The Egyptian pyramids, which still transmit much of their grandeur after more than 4,000 years, offer a window into the nation's illustrious past.

These pyramids impression of Giza Pharoah men's labour was required to build the Great Pyramid, which took 20 years to complete. Given that these guys, who were agricultural labourers, worked on the pyramids mostly when there wasn't much else to do in the fields, that is, when the Nile River was flooded, this estimate is plausible. But by the late 20th century, archaeologists had discovered proof that a smaller crew might have lived there permanently rather than seasonally. So, it was said that 20,000 employees, along with support staff including bakers, doctors, priests, etc., would have been sufficient to complete the job. Three different pharaohs had their royal tombs constructed in the Giza pyramids. The second ruler of the 4th dynasty, Khufu, had the northernmost and oldest pyramid of the group built for him. It is the biggest of the three and is known as the Great Pyramid. Khafre, the fourth of the 4th dynasty's eight monarchs, had the middle pyramid constructed in his honor. Finally, the pyramid of Menkaure, the fifth king of the 4th dynasty, w Khufu and Khafre pyramids.

How the pyramids were constructed. The most likely scenario is that the Egyptians used a sloping and surrounding embankment made of brick, earth, as the pyramid rose and up which, stone blocks were towed using sledges, rollers, and levers. Most Egyptologists agree that ramps are the most practical way to lift the blocks, but they also accept that it is an insufficient solution that needs to be completed by another tool. The Great Pyramid of Giza and other pyramids include archaeological proof of the use of ramps. Levering is the most used technique for aiding ramps. Some historians posit external ramps around the pyramid allowing for blocks to be dragged upwards. Internal ramp enabling bricks to be assembled from the inside out.

However, only small ramps and sloped causeways are found in the archaeological record. Instead of a head-on ramp or an embarkment, the incremental ramping technique sounds more plausible. In this technique, the blocks are ramped incrementally, as in repeatedly prying up alternating sides of the block and inserting wooden or stone shims to gradually move the stone up one course. The internal ramp theory suggests that the blocks were hauled up a short, straight external ramp for the bottom third of the pyramid. At the same time, a second ramp was built inside the pyramid on which blocks for the top two-thirds would be hauled. This ramp, and external ramp had served its purpose. Men hauling heavy blocks of stones up a narrow ramp can't quickly turn a 90-degree corner, so the ramp had openings at each corner where a simple wooden hoist could turn the blocks.

Interestingly, the river Nile also helped in the construction. Nile's bygone Khufu branch was indeed high enough to allow ancient engineers to move enormous stone blocks and construct the magnificent pyramids we know today. All pyramids in Egypt are located on the west coast of the Nile River.

Thanks so much for watching recently seen the pyramids and as wondering how they made these absolutely huge structures... so here's a video on it. If you like these videos please it would really help if you smashed the like button 🥺

This is so ridiculous it’s insulting. To get directly to the point - The giant slabs that are over the King’s Chamber weigh 70 to 80 tons and the minimum slope angle to get those up and into that chamber, 350ft up, would’ve needed to be at least 10 degrees and with that kind of weight not even anything we have today could accomplish that. As a final note, the granite those slabs were carved from came from a quarry over 500 miles away. Nobody knows how these were built and as far as dating them if you took the water striations on the Sphinx and the fact that only a massive amount of water could’ve done that then it would have to be dated over 5000 years BC and that’s before the Egyptians existed. Try again.

The Egyptologists say they did it in 20 years. With this method, if you do the math of 2, 300, 000 stones in 20 years, that means:
1. You have to cut every stone from the place (which is 18 km from the construction site) with copper and bronze! The stones are approximately 2.5 tons each; thats important!
2. Transport the stones across the desert without an advanced wheel or canal system, and cross the Nilo (uploading and downloading a 2.5-ton stone in a boat or floting is difficult!)
3. Align and match the stone with the previous stone, as shown in the video.
All that in 4.5 minutes per stone! NO STOP for 20 years!! Thats imposible... Ok, let's say the Egyptologists were VERY wrong and they constructed the pyramid not in 20 years, but in 40. That means they had to cut, transport, and place each stone every 9 minutes. 24hs NO STOP.. No way! With the technology we have today, that will be impossible. Well, it would not be impossible if you had many stone suppliers and a great project manager, but still, CRAZY.

No Pharaoh has ever been found in these Pyramids

My favorite quote about the pyramids was "The reason they built these structures with 40 ton blocks was because they never figured out how to move 50 ton blocks"

Still waiting for the part of the video which explains how they were "really built"??

Sorry but they don't have any kind of proof that this is how things got done when building, this is nothing more than theories.

There were never any mummies found in the pyramids though, so how could they be tombs for pharaohs?

Joseph Davidovits (born 23 March 1935) is a French materials scientist known for the invention of geopolymer chemistry. He posited that the blocks of the Great Pyramid are not carved stone but mostly a form of limestone concrete or man-made stone.

Someone has been listening to too much Zahi Haw-ass. The great pyramids were never tombs and they date back to before 11, 400bce. No Egyptian records describe building them. No otherwise-ubiquitous hieroglyphs appear inside them.

😂😂😂 It's absolutely insulting. The animation of one guy pulling the 3 ton block is hilarious! Zawahi must have paid for this. Haha 😅😂

Very high tolerance for precision, it cannot be done by skilled workers in third world countries even with their modern technology. It cannot be done with bronze tools.

They built from the top down. Pretty simple when you think about it.

If you believe that this is how they built the pyramids then you must still believe that santa Claus brings you your Christmas presents 🤣🤣🤣

This explanation might work for children but everyone knows that they don't know how a civilization just out of the stone age with copper tools had sophisticated geometry, precision granite cutting abilities, architecture and was unable to create the wheel. They delicately cut and placed seventy ton stones with accurately on a tilt in the grand gallery. The great pyramid had concave sides invisible to the eye and accurate all the way up. The Egyptians may have done this but no one knows how and never will.

The interior of Great pyramid of Giza is a special mystery, the pharaoh's chamber and the granite that is cut with millimeter precision, in fact I think that it was not a tomb at all but had some other purpose, the ancient Egyptians found it in the sand and repurposed it

If the great pyramid took 20 years to build using over 20 million blocks then it has been estimated that each block would have to be cut, shaped, transported and put in place every 9 seconds ! Can you seriously believe this latest piece of tripe ?

A giant ramp was not used. There is no evidence that a giant ramp ever existed, and it would have required nearly as much volume as the pyramid itself. The giant ramp the Romans built to reach Masada is still visible. A ramp going around the perimeter of the pyramid is likely, but not one giant ramp, which would have to be adjusted every row of stone blocks as the pyramid went up and up.

To put it into perspective, the pyramid is made up of 2.3 MILLION stone blocks. The whole thing was supposed to have been completed in 20 years. This means, about 315 stone blocks averaging 2.5 to 15 tons were moved, carried and fitted in a day, all day, everyday, no holidays. No room for error. Yeah, no way that happened. Lol

The thumbnail photo taken during construction confirms this was how they did it. Hehe
