I use Body Fortress whey isolate protein for anyone who cares. It has 6g carbs per 30g protein one scoop and 13g carbs and 60g protein for 2 scoops. Where I live it's 25 bucks for about 9 to 15 days worth depending on whether you use one or two scoops a day

I love your videos. They're very informative. Would you recommend core power for a meal replacement? Or are they a no-go for someone trying to lose weight?

This is completely wrong, there’s more carbs in the meal replacement as the incentive is to replace a meal. Most adults overall eat a higher percentage of carbs over fats and protein. So the aim is to replace what the majority of adults eat in a given meal. Sure, if you don’t work out, you therefore, will be essentially eating more carbs, this is what causes the weight gain and not just the isolated meal replacement shake. That’s if you don’t work out and burn the carbs. The protein is higher in the protein shake but actually fat and muscle weigh the same so you might not see much difference, muscle doesn’t weigh more than fat. It’s also wrong to put building muscle and carbohydrates together as carbs scientifically become energy and the rest that isn’t burned becomes stored fat utilising acetyl COA, a molecule otherwise coenzyme. The way you actually get into a “caloric deficit” as you mentioned is actually from reducing calories from the macronutrients within the entire diet overall. Nothing can “keep you in the deficit” if you are increasing your intake of food or in this instance, shakes and not decreasing your intake elsewhere or reducing your eating window.
