This is part 3 of the full love story of Olivia Spencer (Crystal Chappell) and Natalia Rivera (Jessica Leccia) on Guiding Light.

This lesbian love story evolves over the course of 2 years of soap opera tv. The writers took the time for them to slowly go from hating eachother to loving eachother. Because of the writing and amount of time they shared the screens together, the characters and the story have a lot of depth to them. What you won't see a lot of in this compilation is physical intimacy. Back in 2008/2009 gay storylines in soaps were still a new thing and the network and sponsors where afraid of backlash. What the actresses couldn't show in physical affection though, they made up for in their very realistic portrayal of emotions, great chemistry and overall great acting. Together with the writers they've created a beautiful love story nonetheless.

This is the third part of their story that starts with Olivia's cardiac arrest in october 2008 and ends with the "My two mommy's" project in january 2009. Part 3 is the "feel good" video of the 6 parts: there isn't much drama going on and there isn't much interference from other people while Olivia and Natalia keep growing closer, without them really realising what's happening. This video shows them helping eachother out more and more and caring more about what the other needs than their own wishes.

The quality of the material that's out there for the months of november and early december of 2008 is quite poor. I've tried to edit the video as best as a could and make a decent video out of it, but the first half of the video was a real challenge. I did the best I could, I hope you enjoy it.

They already bicker and support each other like romantic partners, and have been for months and months and months before they actually realized their feelings for each other 😂 their chemistry is thru the roof. I’ve always loved their banter together 😍

Ok so, I’ve been watching this very carefully and what I’ve noticed is:
In my opinion, Natalia was the first who fell in love with Olivia because the way she has always been there for her is not just because of her Christianity. She WANTED to be around over and over and she knew that Olivia had a strong personality but knew Olivia was worth it.
Even though Olivia has always had a very active sexual life and I do think that she has always been attracted to women too, she knew that Natalia would never admit her feeling towards her because of her faith, so she decided to set her up with Frank (hence the Burguer scene).

When both thought that each other wanted the other to move out, both suffered and Olivia cried because she was fighting against her feeling for Natalia because, in her mind, she thought Natalia was not feeling the same.

Damn, these women were so good as these characters! The acting, the writing, the character growth & development, esp. in Parts 2 & 3, are some of the best ever in a love story between 2 women!! There are just so many COMPELLING scenes between them or between one of them & another character (Doris, Rafe, Father Ray, Ava, that Galaxy investor guy, Jeffrey, Phillip, & Emma). Notice I didn't include Frank, who was just annoying af. Please upload Parts 4 & 5! I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU COMPILING THESE VIDS!! THANK YOU!!

A diferencia de la primera parte y la segunda, aquí, ellas avanzaron más en acercarse como amigas. Luego después sabremos, que no solo se querían como amigas.

Curioso, porque Natalia fue besada primero por Frank, y minutos después, por Olivia. Era claro que Olivia le dio un beso a voluntad para hacerle comprender a Natalia que el resto de padres y la profesora de Emma, las veían de verdad como a una pareja, situación que a Natalia no se le ocurrió en el momento. Muy gracioso por cierto.

Lo resalto porque a mi parecer, Natalia no gustó del beso de Frank, pero el de Olivia, le sorprendió, tanto o más que cualquier beso que le hayan dado. No se lo esperaba y se vio que tampoco le disgustó.

Digamos que fue así que ellas ya no se vieron del mismo modo. Creo que más por el lado de Natalia que era muy ferrea a sus creencias. Olivia como que ya estaba teniendo sentimientos hacia ella, pero que aún no se atrevía a reconocerlos.
