This is part 2 of the full love story of Olivia Spencer (Crystal Chappell) and Natalia Rivera (Jessica Leccia) on Guiding Light.

This lesbian love story evolves over the course of 2 years of soap opera tv. The writers took the time for them to slowly go from hating eachother to loving eachother. Because of the writing and amount of time they shared the screens together, the characters and the story have a lot of depth to them. What you won't see a lot of in this compilation is physical intimacy. Back in 2008/2009 gay storylines in soaps were still a new thing and the network and sponsors where afraid of backlash. What the actresses couldn't show in physical affection though, they made up for in their very realistic portrayal of emotions, great chemistry and overall great acting. Together with the writers they've created a beautiful love story nonetheless.

This is the second part of their story that starts with Olivia's heart transplant in april 2008 and ends with her cardiac arrest in october 2008. This five hour part shows them grieving over the loss of Gus and taking it out on each other. But over the course of several months they slowly grow closer together and become a very important part in each other's life.

I’m so happy I clicked on this story. I’ve never seen the show, but the circumstances are unfathomable and so are their conversations. I find myself laughing half out of shock, half out of hilarity. Can’t wait to see when it begins to change.

OMG, it's never boring with Otalia...it is amazing that they have collaborated in 4 WLW projects and I wish that there would be more and more projects with such amazing couple❤

they literally bicker like an old married couple it’s so crazy and so cute. Their dynamic is so fascinating.

it's so awkward to watch all the sparse sets and ill-timed music cues cbs tried to add to this show at the time. it's like they were literally *trying* to get gl and atwt canceled. all these years later and i'm still bitter about how the network treated such long-running soaps like garbage. bless the actors and the writers for putting their all into these shows. and again, thank you for these uploads.

Honestly, it's so refreshing and a downright relief to see Olivia rip Rafe a new one because nearly everyone treats him with kid gloves, Natalia being the worst culprit of all. Rewatching these clips, I'm reminded of how infuriating Natalia's coddling of Rafe is; she thinks her son all but walks on water and can do no wrong. It's a big reason why Rafe is such a "selfish, thoughtless, ungrateful little twit". He should have turned himself in the second he shot Jeffery but no, instead he tucked tail and ran. Took the coward's way out and made his mother's life hell by letting her fret and worry incessantly. One of the worst characters on this show.

It's like every time Olivia does something halfway decent and Natalia tries to care for her in return she has to knife her where it hurts just so Natalia doesn't accidentally think she has a heart. Metaphorically speaking, of course.

Rafe is out of control. He blames Olivia for getting his father’s heart, when his father dies. That is very sad, but Gus loved Olivia in his own way as a good friend. He wanted to save her. It didn’t matter to him what happened to him, just that he wanted her to have his heart.
