This is my favorite year of the 90's, I had best times in my past student life. My favorite songs are "The rhythm of the night", "Close to you", "Right beside you", "Baby I love your love", and many others. I like almost every song in this list. Great year ! Thanks for the video !

1994 is the best year musically (honour shared with 1984, 1985 and 1974). The year my youngest sister and brother-in-law were born. To have a time machine and go back to being 9/10 again would be amazing. There are no bad songs here (The Kelly Family one is OKish at best), and just great. Everyone delivered their A-game to the table that year regardless of genre and artist. At least you could have acts like Celine Dion, The Offspring and Corona be in the same chart at the same time.

TLC released their best album with 'CrazysexyCool' in that year and every track is gold. I can't believe Left Eye has been dead for 20 years.

My favourite is....the act who had a virus named after them and the girl never sang. Corona - 'Rhythm Of The Night'. A true dance classic and still sounds good 28 years on. Second favourite keeping with the Eurodance or more Britdance theme is 'Let Me Be Your Fantasy' by Baby D. Point of note, she's the first Maltese act (married to a British man) to make Number One on the UK charts. Third favourite....so hard as many great songs. I'd have to make a favourite for each genre. Perhaps I'll choose 'Zombie' by Cranberries.

The D:Ream song 'Things Can Only Get Better' was used for a political party campaign in 1997. Perhaps when the UK has an election in 2023 or 2024, the same party could use the same song again to help them win. I do prefer 'U R The Best Thing', although the original 1992 version was better.

Apart from all the one-hit eurodance singles (which all sounded the same to me), the musicality of the '94 charts is as diverse as they come.
