Super year, 1986. I had my second daughter, such A good baby, I had to go hospital early, while my three year old stayed with family. I had developed OCD, so cudnt stop cleaning, and needed rest. Wish I cud go back to 1986, to do mummy again..now girls are both working, I am amazed, where this time gone. Great hits. 😊

That's a whole lot of songs I can't bear to listen to... not because I don't care for them, but because of the memories they invoke; past relationships. It can't be helped, but eventually tying people to songs can prove painful years later.

I was 20 years old in 1979, so I tend to like the 70s and early 80s music more than 1986 to now. It seems like music was a much bigger deal in the 70s- less other stuff to do, and a nice stereo for $1000 plus was a goal for many, especially for enough quality loudness for parties.
