Tried this recipe last night on our Weber gas grill, great success! Total grill time: 1 hr. 5 mins. After cleaning and oiling the grill, set grill to med. low heat (350 degrees F.), put ribs on grill bone side down. Covered grill for 30 mins. Then, turned ribs bone side up, brushed on Honey BBQ sauce (Williamson Bros). Covered grill for 20 mins. Then, turned ribs bone side down again. Brushed the meaty side with Honey BBQ sauce. Covered & grilled for another 15 mins. Tested temperature inside meat to be 160 degrees F. Grilling's done! Removed ribs. Yum, yum! 👍🏼👏

You are raising very interesting points, Simos. Some people just enjoy the taste of sauce along with their meat. If you are not one of them, seasoning the meat with salt works as well! Happy cooking!

Anything under 5 hours is grilling. Over 5 hours is BBQ. There is a HUGE difference in texture, flavor and to be sure you NEVER want the meat "falling off the bone" that means you have actually not "mouth or tooth" to the meat.

The temperatures are very important and extremely important to be VERY even throughout the cooker. That is the biggest issue with gas bbq's (which are actually designed as gas grills only).

I can bbq ribs perfectly in a 26 inch webber, it is very hard to bbq ribs at all in a gas grill.

BTW, the rub that she gave is missing sugar....it needs some possibly not a lot but without it one gets a bitter flavor. Anise in very small amounts can sweeten the meat as well.

One time i slow cooked some ribs for about a month. Nothing left but the bones. They were falling of the marrow they were so soft. I only cooked them that long because i forgot i was cooking them until a month later when i went to use my grill again. My dog for some reason didn't even want to eat them. Guess he was full from all that grass he ate after the last meal i feed him

Hi Zia San Jose, you can turn them over if you prefer! They will be more saucy if you just let them barbeque on one side. Enjoy

My grill only has two burners but 2 levels for indirect heat cooking. Should I put the ribs on the top shelf of my gas grill or use charcoal and split it instead?

Oh, forgot to mention in my earlier comment: after patting the ribs dried with paper towel, I rubbed some yellow mustard all over the ribs. Then I put the dry-rub on. The mustard helped the dry-rub stick to the ribs. I saw this method from another YouTube video. Also, I let the ribs marinate in fridge for 4 hrs., although I believe 2 hrs is sufficient. Needed to run errands, so left ribs in marinate longer. 😊
