Tempted to get this because I'm early in the game and want to fry the deathclaws in the quarry, but probably not worth it for a shortcut like that. I'll eventually be able to take them out easily enough and it'll be better, in the long run, to do the "right" thing.

I created a save state directly before this just to see what would happen with that optional quest and it was totally worth it, I laughed so hard watching this

@drumaster666 Its called Anti-materiel Rifle, it does about 170 dmg and about 490 in sneak mode. You can only get it when you get above lvl 16 i think it was :b simply buy it from vendors.

1 shot in head with this rifle kills anything

Small boy in new vegas, he will sell it for 1000 caps right before you get into the casino district

@ShadowDuty7 you have to kill them and activate archimedes before you get ammo, ammo replinishes every 24 hours

i've played the game long ago and it seemed to me that you dont need necesserly to kill all soldier. i don't remember how but for sure i did not kill any soldiers (maybe a bug or something)
