Its so funny to me. Its like, upperclassmen speak even higher than the white glove society, then he resumes to random muttering and coughing.

In fallout 3, if you drag generic npcs onto the boat that brings you to Point Lookout they will spawn alive at the location you placed their body. They will respawn with most of their gear back and will begin to run back to the location they were supposed to spawn. Ive dragged a raider there, the talon company mercs, a BOS soldier and a sentry bot from the nearby locations, and watch them fight to the death to leave the boat. it works best bringing them to the top of the boat by the seats.
I discovered this a long time ago, and Ive never seen Anyone mention it before.
Edit: Try to make sure the bodies arent blown to bits, and you have to wait a few in game days at another location, as you would for anything to spawn back.

Definitely something I missed out on as I usually play high intelligence Characters on my playthroughs. Love the writing for his dialog here.

You should do the dialogue from Old World Blue with Doctor 8. He gives you cram and duct tape after you tell him that's how you get off

The next fallout should have a very hard mode that is essentially 1 int. Like certain skills are capped because of the lack of comprehension such as fixing items and using medicines.
Also a lot more dialogue should be effected.

Previously, the Nukapedia wiki described the discussion with Tor in Fallout 2 as being "as if being stupid was its own culture with its own language" but I think it's been edited out. I love that this was carried over to NV.

In fallout 3, if you talk to the megaton doctor about his patients. Through a speech skill check, he will tell you that Leo Stahl has a jet addiction that he cannot help him with. He also says that Leo goes to the water treatment plant at night to get high. If you go to the plant and confront him, you can convince him (through another speech check) to kick the habit. He then will give you some good karma, and a key to his private chem stash, as he no longer has a need for it. This is a really good way to get some free chems early in the game, as all it requires is a tad bit of speech skill.

I always thought that a future fallout game should have dialogue represent a combination of your characters intelligence and charisma, seeing as how the two are often related in conversation but are definitely distinctive. The dialogue choices would often times lead to the same NPC response (for obvious developmental reasons) but would be often worded very differently to more accurately represent your characters vernacular and linguistic ability

Each of the two special stats would would have 3 separate ratings: a low (1-3), medium (4-6), and high (7-10+), so there would overall be nine possible combinations/varieties of dialogue, so the player can effectively have nine distinct personalities.

You could really have this factor into NPC response by having low intelligence and low charisma characters have trouble interacting with almost everybody, high intelligence low charisma character having trouble interacting with people not of a similar intelligence, and high charisma but low intelligence characters be more of a “lovable idiot”.

Love how low intelligence leaves so many options and unique dialog. Such as the Intelligence implant being cheaper, or how your brain is swimming in mentats in "Old World Blues".

Since I almost always run a high intelligence stat these are sadly dialogue options I tend to miss, thanks for sharing them.

Gotta love how in Fallout 1, the new BOS initiate (player) seems decently intelligent, until their doubled-up mentats wear off, and they devolve into semi-sentience.

For once in all my years and time playing new Vegas Ive never seen this dam

Back in 2002, I spent ages playing Deus Ex, trying to uncover every possible dialogue permutation. I just don’t have it in me to do that with a game like Fallout New Vegas, so this channel has been a wonderful resource.

0:35 is this a texture pack you are using TK for the brick wall? It looks much better than I remember.

This is so cool. If it was a common occurrence then I could see myself doing multiple build playthroughs simultaneously to experience them all at the same time
