You have two degraded storage pools, each with two disks in RAID 1 configuration? Both storage pools with failed disks?? IMO this makes the demonstration unclear as most people would repair a single volume.
(I am attempting to replace a whole volume having just bought two SSDs, and was hoping to see if it were possible to move all data and simply remove the 2xHDD before placing the 2xSSDs in their place. No idea if the theory will work!)
