Damn, I didn't realize we were getting close to having a real place yet. I realize this is kind of an alpha version of sea-steading, but still, very cool.

So you want to build a floating version of the wealthy gated community, that offers little to zero benefit to the local community. Or am I wrong, and you mean to take in and house all those islanders whose homes are already disappearing beneath the waves?

The sea level is rising, at most, 1 inch every hundred years, so Tahiti is safe from sinking beneath the waves. Lets instead promote how this will offer freedom on the sea - a much better selling point.

Hopefully the California based company doesn’t mess it up like everything else they touch.
