"Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." Benjamin Franklin already knew that owning the morning helps you win the day. And former General McRaven nailed it with his "Make your Bed" video. I believe that the morning is the most magical time of the day. So this is what I do. Again no cloud tool needed.

Christoph Magnussen is an entrepreneur since high school. After graduating from University of St. Gallen (HSG), he co-founded a mobile phone reCommerce company which grew from 1M to 31M in revenue in less than 5 years. To scale the business, he wouldn’t just add manpower. Instead, he was obsessed with increasing individual productivity through latest online collaboration tools and new work methods.

How do you start your days? I've found it varies for a lot of people, some are night owls, some are early risers like me. What do you prefer?

Excellent advise. Having attended a military school and being in the Army, we took the morning to prepare for the day. I think that this is a great post and I find that getting up earlier helps me to conquer the day. I like to walk or run early. It is better than caffeine:). Throughout the day, I am all about walking meetings.

Great video, absolutely agree. I get up at 5:00, followed by three routine tasks and then the three most important tasks of the day. At 9:00 I have a feeling of a successful day.

I have already checked out your sleep-cycle video. Now I am wondering, how you are handling interruption in the night ( for example your kid is crying and you have to stand up)?
Do you just add this minutes to your sleeping time (6h plus interruption) or do you stand up exactly after 6h from the time you went to bed?
