*"I wasn't shocked because I had won the Grammy, I was shocked because Tony Bennett had said my name."*

One of the rare times when the Grammy’s got it absolutely RIGHT!! Amy deserved this so much, Back to Black is a legendary album and I’m so happy that she got this validation.

i love that shot of amy at 0:14 and that moment of realisation.

the lighting, the arms in between her, the cheering background and foreground, feels like it came out of a movie. an icon she is.

Her hugging her mom. That really hurts me. She must miss her so much. That pain never goes away and I pray I never have to feel it.

The fact that Tony Bennet is the oldest there and live surpassed both Amy Winehouse and Natalie Cole who is far his Junior is heartbreaking.

What if Amy was treated right? what if she took another way to deal with the pain instead of drugs and alcohol? all I wanna say is that it'd be a better world if Amy still producing her art through music, and ofcourse we miss you Amy.

The first utterance out of her mouth was "uh", so talented, so amazing, so humble, unbelieving. A true superstar.

Amy must have felt like she was in a moment where time stopped and was moving 1000 miles a minute at the same time. The way she just froze and stared as Tony Bennett announced her name. And the way everyone else around her is cheering and celebrating. Amy deserved every bit of success she received. And we can only imagine where she would be today if she weren’t taken so soon.

I am so glad she has her genuinely happy moments in her career. She so deserved it. I am so heartbroken over her death to this day. I can’t believe it’s been 13 years. She was so young.
