Is there a liveCD of this so I can try it out? I am trying to go away from Windows but so far, no matter what distro I tried, it had issues putting out 4K 60Hz image to my Samsung TV (going above 30 Hz the image falls apart and gets a greenish tint), and it is not a hardware issue, on the same laptop with same cables (It is an MSI GF65 Thin-9SEXR laptop with an Intel Core i5-9300H, and an nVidia Geforce RTX 2060) Windows 10 and 11 has no issues putting out 4K 60Hz to my Samsung TV with the same HDMI cable, while no matter what linux I tried, both live and installed, they just can't even with the proper driver installed. I am asking because seems like the ISO on their website has no Live Session and I just want to try it out before even bothering with installing it.

I am more interested in the android app integration, how does it run?
are there play store? can we install from apk file?
edit: I've tried it and it's a nice looking os but no android file support whatsoever.
it's just another debian based distro.
it also need a minimal of 64gb space to install.
there's three category filter indeed but I haven't found a single result using generic keyword if I tick nothing but android.
I've also tried downloading an apk file but the file manager only recognize it as another archive file.
And also it's likely discourage the using of terminal by not putting it on dock by default.
in conclusion it's pretty but surprisingly bare.

I find the DE pretty, I tried the ubuntu project but it was unplished. Still would rather modify plasma or Zorin's take gnome.

if you set the file extension before open it ( .java or .cpp or .c ) you have the coloration in the original editor. bye

I had Deepin 20.5 installed but ruined it by installing few things from third-party sources which demanded gnome-keyring. This time I kept Vivaldi installed as a stand-alone .deb. No repo, just manually install; even the Vivaldi flatpak demanded gnome-keyring at first launch. The only additional repo I have is for Insync, which keeps my Google Drive and OneDrive updated locally.

I have installed a few flatpaks. These particular programs lacked some features in the standard repos but are fully updated as flatpaks: Kdenlive, Krita, MuseScore, and OBS Studio.

Deepin 20.6 is working fantastic. Suspend works, I can tweak PulseAudio for up to 96KHz (optical audio feed), and the DE is responsive and beautiful. I went through a weekend trying various distros to find what worked for me, and all the others hit significant snags: Ubuntu, Pop OS, KaOS, Manjaro, Fedora, Ubuntu Studio, openSUSE. Solus was my #2 choice, but I was not jazzed about the overall feel of any of its DEs for some reason. It was very stable.

I installed deepin 20. a few days ago after I have had deepin v15. for a while. They have completely ruined the good looks of the OS. It works nicely, but one of the key things about deepin was that it was such a nice looking system. Now it looks pretty standard. Still a good system though
