I placed the iso on a flash drive, first using Pentoy, secondly using MultiBoot USB. Deepin WOULD NOT boot from iso on flash drive; it wanted ONLY to install.

Deepin is not at all user friendly. There is no compact file view. Launcher is also clumsy as you have to press back button every time you shift from categories. Linux mint is best. It is my current OS.

Is it pretty? That's a matter of personal opinion. For me, eye candy does not make a good Linux distro. You can easily tweak most Linux distros to suit your own personal taste, whether it be for the Desktop Environment, apps, or whatever.

Is it any good? Again, for me that is debatable. The reviewer has clearly stated that Deepin 20 has multiple issues with speed and memory usage, both are significantly important considerations when selecting which Linux distro to install on any computer, new or older.

Will I be using it? No. I will be staying with MX Linux and LMDE, both of them Debian based, fast, configurable and rock solid reliable.
