Not a lot of people know this, but the dlc was written by someone from the original team. Andrew Auseon, responsible for the House of Ballads and other Fae quests in the original.

I liked KOA, but I felt like it had very wild difficulty swings. On the hardest difficulty at least, I could thrash most enemies, but them get obliterated by one mage, go around the corner and wipe out a horde of enemies no problem, then get destroyed by another single enemy.

kingdom of amalur was my second fantasy rpg after dragon age, and even now i really like it and is one of my favorite games

I remember picking this up originally when KoA came out. I felt this game was kinda slept on and generally harshly reviewed at the time.

I loved this game. Now all games have flaws. But this game was just fun really good fun. Please make another one. Take all of the first one and just expand on it. Give it better ways to farm and grind, new enemies bigger places, more spells really wished we had a classic fireball spell. Love this game

Did any1 find it weird that literally the last thing said to you during base game main quest, is not to tell any1 about the last boss, and then the first dude you talk to in the expansion mentions it by name? How did he hear about it?

Another way to beat the chaos health bar is to cast a spell against the foe, a little pink chaos ring forms on the ground, keep the foe in the ring and it will diminish that chaos bar

my biggest issue with the DLC is they made you have to finish the main story first. They should have just had a level for it. Im a person that takes my time and I cant skip past shit lmao. SO ive got like 10 - 15 hours into my current playthrough which is literally the same character that always play in this game - Might / Sorcery build. So i havent gotten to touch the DLC yet.
