Bowed wrist and focusing on turning added 20 yards to my irons. Increases consistency. Finally feels like all my clubs can be swung similarly just moving the ball position around.

Continuing the turn, essentually having the shoulders open at impact, is an advanced detail to release the stored lag. It was my final 'move' to break 300 yds with the driver at age 57. The cupped wrist also promotes a hands forward iron impact, delofting the face and enabling you to reduce your power for more consistency (that's that 75% or 80% swing power thing) -while still adding two clubs to your irons. My PING i20s are setup 1/2 club weak, and still use the 9i for 150 yds. ....all because of the shoulders open at impact -crack the whip action it promotes.

Shows a bowed wrist then proceeds to not bow his wrist 🤯

If youre good enough to deloft and hit up you really have no choice but to have more bow than you did at address. You have to find a good matchup

Bowed Wrist: There are many ways to bow the wrist and only one correct way will make the ball go straight along the target line. There is an axis of the wrist that a correct golf swing has to turn clockwise to the axis. It’s like a bullet inside the rifle is spinning along. Hogan’s secret. 😂

Way too much obsession with the hands/wrist etc. focus on getting depth and turning
