I just bought a bag of pecans because of your other video, so now it's Brasil nuts? my mornings are filled with lemonjuice, water, olive oil, stretching, bananas, breathing, strawberries, pistachio nuts, cinnamin, ginger and skull tapping, that I hardly have time for a shot of whiskey!

Doctor Mandell: Thank you so much for this advice, my daughter had a crisis of hyperthyroidism, 8 years ago, when she was 17 years old. Now she has subclinic hypothyroidism and she feels better because she has been having 2 Brazil nuts per day . Her levels are on range now. Greetings from Mexico City. God bless you!

Some recommend 1, maybe 2 brazil nuts a day but taking too much can lead to selenium poisoning. Although selenium is necessary for good health, getting too much can be dangerous. In fact, consuming high doses of selenium can be toxic and even fatal.

While selenium toxicity is rare, it’s important to stay close to the recommended amount of 55 mcg per day and never exceed the tolerable upper limit of 400 mcg per day. Brazil nuts contain a very high amount of selenium. Consuming too many could lead to selenium toxicity. However, toxicity is more likely to happen from taking supplements rather than eating selenium-containing foods.

Signs of selenium toxicity include hair loss, dizziness, , nausea, vomiting, facial flushing, tremors, muscle soreness. In severe cases, acute selenium toxicity can lead to serious intestinal and neurological symptoms, heart attack, kidney failure, and death.

Brazil nuts are also good for blood sugar I heard. 2 Brazil nuts before bed. Chromium and magnesium are two component responsible for that. Although I don't know if it works the same for a type 1 diabetic like myself but I'm still willing to try.

Is it necessary to soak these nuts overnight?

Thanks Doc 🙏🏽😌. You are so informative. I had a cat 😼 named after that nut because as a kitty I said that he was real crazy and the same color as the outer shell of the Brazil nut. 🐾🐾
