I’m enjoying your posts and your practical way of explaining! Totally agree with your myth busting. I started jazz guitar 25 years ago. Two years ago when covid grounded most gigs, I took up singing and accompanying myself. Never too old to learn, it does take time and work to become proficient. I’ll be 73 on Saturday and having a blast!

Spot on about the gear aspect, i gave up trying to gear hunt once i found the sound i was looking for, i do still enjoy the occasional gear video, but i watch it as I'd watch a movie, and not to buy it.
Just got a kiesel so can't really say anything there, except for the fact that i am indeed trying to learn as much vocabulary as i can, and your and Juan Dhas' channels are a great inspiration to keep pushing myself! Have a great day Charles!

I've never been interested in gear beyond having a half-decent guitar - elec & classical . I had a Tokai Strat for years (now Mexican Fender) & an ME5 Boss multi-effects & a cheapish amp . In fact, most of my practice is on my unplugged Strat which is never out of reach . Still love playing after 40 years (ouch!) .
