Adobe Photoshop - save as option not working

Hi Friends!
The ways in which files are saved have been altered by Adobe. My old favourite, Save As, now only allows you to save into file types that are compatible with all facets of your work. This implies that you can only save files as.PSD,.PSB, or.TIFF if they have layers, for example. Even though this would seem useful, there are a number of instances when I just want to quickly store a JPEG for use on the web without having to go through the export or save for web options.
Even worse, this transformation happened mostly in silence. The patch notes cover it, although not much has changed in the programme itself. With limitations, the former Save As dialog's keyboard shortcut and the majority of its appearance have been transferred to the new Save As dialogue. In fact, I didn't discover it the first few times I used it because I mistakenly believed there was a small bug. Watch full video for better understanding.
