For the last question I used the rule that defines circles intersecting at a tangent, which says that the distance between the centres of both circles has to be equal to the sum of their radii, I then used that formula to find the values of n. However I find the method you've demonstrated here much more intuitive and more time saving, thanks Kevin

On 4.2.1 what if I use the equation of a circle to get y
