In this video, we are covering what is a logarithm? A logarithm is a very powerful tool in math that allows us to solve for the value of unknown exponents! Our normal algebra tools up to this point allow us to solve for unknown variables that are bases, but not when they are exponents! Using logarithms allows us to change the form of an exponential relationship to quickly and easily solve for the value of an unknown exponent! There are many applications of logarithms, and understanding the basics of them in this video are essential for going forward with their applications!
