Do you only do this to the first stitch OR do I need to do it to the first and last stitch??? Thank you.

Thank-you!!! I've literally started this morning and it was very frustrating to see my good stiches get all messed up on the edges and look like crap.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE STITCH COUNT? Do you add a stitch?

I do it the same way, the only thing I do a lil differently is when I take off the first then do the second I stop and pull on the yarn a bit which helps pull the edge stitch in making it the same size as the second and ones to follow. Just takes the worry about even sized edge stitches outta it.

Can you tell me what the nail polish (the pea green color) brand/color is that you’re wearing in this video? I love it!

There is another way that I read in a Vogue knitting magazine. And I can't remember which end is which, but they said you are either pushing extra yarn in front of you or vice versa, and if you knit the end (or maybe the beginning) of a row very, very tightly, and the beginning (or the end) not too loosely, but just the way you knit, you will not get those big loops on one edge. And I know it works perfectly, but I can't remember which is which, I suppose because I take breaks in my knitting, and most of it is in the round. So I'm trying it with tightly knit beginnings and just regular ends, and it seems to be working. But it had to do with the differences in the anatomy of knitted and purled stitches, and perhaps the difference in the amount of yarn used for each one, and it made sense. And it works.
