After 175 miles I can say that level 1 pas works very well for my style of riding, helping to make the trip feel as level as possible. I avg 10 mph and am not a power rider, rather I am in the game for exercise and exploration and this bike helps me get a nice workout without causing too much stress on my heart, one that has been vegging in the lazy-boy for too many years. I do use the higher modes, especially on the way home from more daring excursions, and find auto mode to be very flexible and easy to control depending upon the type of pedaling one uses. The front leaning rest position took a bit to get used to, but now I prefer it and feel it to be a powerful angle for "digging in" and transferring muscle power to the wheel. Battery life is amazing and power delivery is smooth and predictable. I love the bike and hope the spare battery shows up as advertised.

I have had my Crosscore RC for about six weeks. I bought this bike on the current Yamaha sale bash for 1199.00 + tax. That includes the 3 year warranty extended to 5 and the extra free battery. These are my mileage test results. Echo- 68 miles, Standard 40miles and Auto 43 miles. I didn’t test Echo + or High. Conditions were wind 15 mph gusting to 23, flat to slightly hilly, rider 5’-11” weight 223 lbs in cycling gear. If you look at the distance reports that Electric Bike Reports did, you have to consider the rider weight was 175 lbs. I don’t recall them mentioning wind. In my area the average daily wind speed is 12.2 mph. So my distance results are based on 48 lbs extra for the rider and probably higher head and cross wind speeds. Thanks your reports and insights.

Nice review! I just got one delivered today! Can you recommend a good phone app?

The Cross Core RC's front chainring is 44T, but this is not suitable for tough hills. Battery drain is also high. Given the bike's characteristics, 36T is best as it is more like a gravel bike.

Great review. I just bought one off of your review and just received it. I can't seem to get a water bottle cage to fit it - did you mount a water bottle cage to yours? If so, would love to know what you purchased. Thanks!

Did I miss it or did you not talk about the fork? I hear it isn't good but with the current sale this bike is very enticing regardless.

Do you think this bike could handle the same Knob Hill terrain that you rode on in your offroad wabash video? I also bought the crosscore RC and would like to convert it to more of a hardtail/gravel. Thanks.

Great video. Can you suggest a quick remove/attach solution for the front wheel of RC? I want to carry my bike in the trunk of the car, where it will fit easily if I remove the front wheel. Very interested to see if this is possible with a quick release.

I noticed a slight slippage feeling from the motor while riding my CrossCore in 9th gear. I was wonder if that was expected because of the akward chain angle or adjustment is needed. Did you experience anything like that while riding in 9th gear?

Why would they put thinner tires on a gravel bike? Im glad i got the crosscore instead of the wabash. While i was waiting for my crosscore to show up i bought a deepower fat tire dual battery 55ah 48v dual shock and a 2k watt motor for 1120 shipped from ali express. Its suppose to have LG batteries. The batteries alone are worth half the price of the bike. Zero reviews on utube rolling the dice on this one.

I ordered this bike with the free battery deal. Now apparently that deal has ended but it has taken weeks and I'm only now getting my bike. If they don't honor the deal, I'm returning it. Not right to yank that out...let's hope they do the right thing and honor the batteries for those who bought under that promotion when active.

The battery tray is badly designed I have the same problem, it stays on for a while but a single bump on the road and it'll pop out just a little but it's not dangerous it'll not completely open the tray nor the battery because it's on a separate lock, but it's rather annoying because of course you want to keep the battery space clean. Otherwise fantastic bike imo. Get a velcro strap for 3€ to tie around he battery tray and frame problem solved.
