Nowadays, 15% service/kitchen fee + 10% tax (where I live) + 20% tip. That's 45%. For every dollar you spend on what you put in your mouth, you must cough off 45 cents for other things. That's why I eat at home. Screw the eateries and if enough people stop eating out and cause hardship to restaurants, their owners and staff, so be it. You find a way to make things affordable or you shut down.

I guess I chinese tip. Every time I order food it's $5. No matter how much I spend. The only exception is if I order fuck tons of food or have it delivered like 20 miles.
