Asian host, Asian guest, Asian food and drink, while talking about the Asian American experience on a mainstream American late night show. History was made here. This makes me so happy.

Simu could make late night hosting the rest of his career if the Marvel thing doesn’t pan out. He was relaxed and seems like he can do the witty banter and think on his feet

This is kind of amazing. Jimmy Kimmel and producers, you deserve a trophy. I feel like this is going to be clipped on some Asian Americans in media documentary in the future.

Simu needs to get his own show because he has that positive, charming, funny energy that every host needs.

Simu Liu absolutely smashed this. He looked and sounded like he's been doing this for 15 years. If this whole shang-chi thing doesn't work out I would love to see him as a late night host. Would he be the first Asian-American to host an American late night show?

Jimmy sets his hosts up to succeed. You can see that they set up the props to make it easier for him to run the interview.

Jimmy’s dad just seems so happy, he seems to be living out his inner child who didn’t have a chance to do whatever he wanted. It’s so cute I love the stories!!!
