About father-daughter watching: I had jaw surgery last year and I had to be babysat 24/7 for three weeks. During that time, I couldn’t talk at all and all I could “eat” was pure liquids (like, we had to mix the Ensure with water to make sure it was thin enough to go through the syringe). My dad volunteered to babysit me and I, zooted on medically prescribed oxy for half the time, forced him to watch every eat the menu with me. He took it like a champ. I damn near happy cried when I caught him watching by himself a couple months ago :) I’m so excited to show him this episode and see his reaction to the father-daughter bit

ex cracker barrel worker here, everything has zero seasoning because the main demographic of cracker barrel is the elderly. they'd always complain about everything being over seasoned, so they decided to not add any extra seasoning to anything, and leave it to the customers discretion.

Current Cracker Barrel worker here: they didn’t garnish everything right, like the cheesecake pancakes are supposed to have powdered sugar strawberries and whipped cream. Also, it’s all about the customizations. I love the egg sandwich add grilled onions and put a little hashbrown casserole on it.

I got weirdly emotional about this episode. My dad had one of those Cracker Barrel games that he played over and over again -- wrote a "cheat sheet" at the bottom. He passed away a few years ago (dementia) and the house had caught on fire a year before that, and I'm realizing of all the things I wish could have been saved, I really want that stupid game with his stupid cheat sheet on the bottom.

Fun fact, one of my favorite American experiences was at Cracker Barrel when I asked if there were vegetarian options. Waitress's response: "No meat at all? oh ma'am, that might be difficult. We season everything with HAM".

I'm a CB trainer and I'm crying Cuz so many of those meals were either missing sauces, garnishes, and/or we're plated wrong 😭 the cheesecake pancakes were missing the powder sugar, strawberries, whip cream and strawberry sauce. The Chicken BLT should've been in a box and it didn't have the maple glaze or the sweet N smoky Mayo that makes it so good 😭😭😭

Speaking of dad and daughters watching eat the menu: My dad and I went to a jack in the box drive through on Christmas because nowhere else was open, and the line was so long we watched the entire eat the menu in the drive through. It is honestly one of my favorite memories with him.

Cracker barrel server here to help with the breakfast menu! Most of them aren't labelled correctly (probably due to the amount of food), so I figured this would help!

1:58 Grandpa's country fried breakfast! It does usually come with gravy for the fried steak, which I'm sure you've seen comments about. Can pick chicken fried chicken as a meat also.

3:24 looks to be the build your own breakfast with an incorrectly sized piece of ham. This breakfast lets you upcharge to any meat available, or try a sampling of our three main breakfast meats, with a choice of sugar or country ham. The loaded hashbrown casserole tots are a premium side.

6:00 I believe the country boy breakfast! It has many meat options: double order of bacon, double order of sausage, country ham, sugar ham, or a sirloin steak. The loaded hashbrown casserole is a premium side.

8:15 the bacon and egg hashbrown casserole. A breakfast skillet essentially.

9:48 this is correct, the egg sandwich!

10:32 this is an appetizer, or barrel bite! The loaded hashbrown casserole appetizer is supposed to have extra cheese, bacon, and parmesan cheese overtop of it. I believe it was put together incorrectly. They are tots made from hashbrown casserole, with cheese and onions inside.

11:43 the biscuit breakfast, also correct! Can get sugar ham, country, bacon, or sausage on the biscuits.

12:32 the impossible sausage! This is completely plant based and meat free. I agree, it tastes incredibly similar to real meat. It is a premium meat.

13:12 this is the spicy chicken sausage! Also a premium meat.

15:35 I would like to note the coca cola cake does not actually have any coca cola inside of it. It has the name due to the fudgy layer formed in-between the chocolate frosting and the rich cake underneath! Maybe at a time it did include real coca cola, I'm not sure about that.

16:15 this is the homestyle chicken and french toast!

17:21 these are the stuffed cheesecake pancakes! The full breakfast includes two eggs, with bacon or sausage. In house it's topped with powder sugar, strawberries, whip cream, and strawberry syrup. It's definitely not usually that plain at all.

18:53 these are the blueberry pancakes, also correct! Can get blueberry syrup when available too.

19:24 these are the pancakes with fruit topping! We have apple topping and peach topping, where available.

22:41 loaded steak fries! Another barrel bite, usually with green onions on top when available.

22:10 the white cheddar cheese bites! This barrel bite also has parmesan cheese on top as well. They are cheese curds basically.

22:31 these are country fried pickles! So good with ranch, if you like it.

This was my golden opportunity and I took it, hope this helps someone!
