Definitely check out Risk of Rain 2. It's so much fun with friends and one of the first roguelike games I've played aside from Gungeon and Dead Cells

I agree that all of these games are at the top of their class. However, there are some newer roguelikes that shouldn't be ignored in my opinion, particularly for a 2020 list. I would recommend checking out Noita, Risk of Rain 2, Dicey Dungeons, Prey: Mooncrash, Hades, and Streets of Rogue. Splenky 2 is also set to launch this year. But for a greatest of all time list, definitely. Great video as always.

For anyone who liked Gungeon and Nuclear Throne, check out Wally and the Fantastic Predators and Ether Loop.

For an actual roguelike I suggest Tales of Maj’Eyal. It has much of the classic rogue in it while streamlining and enhancing things considerably.

If you're on PC and enjoy Roguelikes, you need to play Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. They aren't much to look at but their depth is unlike anything else.

I finished Isaac with every character, every challenge and 100% steam achievements. I have almost 3000 hours in it and I can't think of another game (and I've been playing all sorts of video games for the last 25 years) with so much replayability.

Indie Games Hipster moment - I remember when Vlambeer was working on the predecessor to Nuclear Throne as part of a Game Jam. Never thought that it would become so wildly successful

Got 1811 hours in binding of Isaac literally beat every ounce of the game a definite 9.5/10 and to me was a real boost to the rougelike genre love your vids man
