When I turned fifty I became unintentionally invisible lol.

I suspect 95% of us watching this video don't need to change anything.

Police: "Can you describe the content creator?"
Me: "He looks like Norm MacDonald's cousin who shops at Costco"

I was once told "Don't be a flamingo in a field of sparrows".

I read a book by a former cop that said if you want to be completely invisible on the road, drive a boring reliable car in good condition (no dents or bondo) in a boring color with no bumper stickers. And make sure you update your tags on time. That's how he got a lot of busts.

I grew up in a very violent environment, where fights were normal. My father told me never to get a tattoo because it's identifying. He also taught me to be continually aware of your situation, trust no one unless they prove themselves and to be totally cynical!

As an introvert, I've been doing these things my whole life. 👍

Also, keep quiet. Don't be the loudmouth in the crowd. Let the loudmouths be your distraction to get away.

I would add: Always look BUSY. Look like you are consumed in something you are doing, that clearly indicates you know where you are and where you are going, but you CAN’T be distracted. Others tend to shy away from people who appear focused and determined and who clearly are not to be messed with. This has gotten me past security guards and checkpoints all over the world. They dare not intrude on my concentration.

My dad was a WW2 veteran, many of these tips, he repeated to me many times as a kid. This brought lots of memories of him.

Number 6: Don't be the only person who doesn't look when the building explodes.

One of the very few advantages of growing up in an abusive environment, is learning to hide in plain sight, at a young age.
Another thing, that goes along with hide in plain sight, is not looking like you have any money, at all. If you look poor, bums are less likely to panhandle you, and "regular" people don't want to know you exist.

Delete all social media or use fake accounts.

Sometimes when I've been abroad, people in the street have asked me for directions which means I was blending, like a local.

Heck, I'm boring already, bro...😂

As far as getting a boring job, I'd recommend staying away from retail jobs because of the need to interact with large numbers of the public. Better choices would be second or graveyard shift work as a janitor where you will be off the street and working alone.

You want a car that blends in too. No shinny wheels, stickers. You want them to forget it.

Jason, could you please make some videos for handicap, disabled or the elderly who want to protect themselves.

I've always been invisible. I could've been an international spy because I seem to blend in everywhere. Customer service workers look over my shoulder or through me to help whoever is behind me. I wish I had a nickel for every time someone said "I didn't even see you there!" Good advice in the video though.
