The second installment of my new series, where I will review the eidolons of each unit released in the first year of Honkai: Star Rail. In this video, I will go over the value each eidolon will provide to every unit belonging to the Destruction path released in the first year, namely Arlan, Blade, Clara, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Hook, Jingliu, Misha and Xueyi. Speaking from experience, Clara's E1 is a nice QOL improvement. It makes a great difference when Svarog's counter isn't taken away by skill usage.

Another strong pro of both Jingliu and Dan or well mostly Dan is the capabilities of being able to self buff. This allows you to bring different types of dmg boosting sup. Different sources of dmg buff are better just than one type.

I feel as if the general philosophy behind destruction characters is give and take. Most destruction characters have kits where they sacrifice something or are restricted by something to deal their maximum damage.

You can see this give and take in effect with the top 3 destruction units meta wise, DHIL JL Blade
