Scuba Diving in World's Most Beautiful Cave - Devils Den Prehistoric Spring

Devils Den Prehistoric Spring in Williston Florida is one of the most beautiful caves in the world. Come along on this Scuba Dive in the Cavern zone of Devils Den Spring. Open water scuba divers are allowed to scuba dive in the Devils Den, on this dive we stay in the cavern zone so we are not technically "cave diving". Cave Scuba diving requires specialized training and gear which I do not have, never go cave diving without the proper training and gear. Devils Den Prehistoric spring in Williston Florida is an incredible place to dive and I would encourage you to try it one day.

I am using the HOG Hybrid Pro BCD and the HOG Zenith Regulators and WOW they breath like a dream!

I just dove Devil's Den and Blue Grotto for the first time last week and now this shows up in my suggested videos. Thanks, YouTube algorithm. Awesome video!

Wow it's so awesome that you're researching everything and sharing information and educating people! I think it would be awesome to watch your journey to get cave certified (if you feel comfortable with that and want to do that, if not that's fine) because that would be awesome! After watching a lot of dive talk and Mrballen, I've gotten really interested in diving and hope to be able to start to learn how. I think even if you never end up going in any caves, cave training will definitely make you a better and more knowledgeable diver and open up a lot more possibilities for you! But no pressure! These videos are awesome as is and I would love to see this stuff in person one day!

Thank you for sharing! I am snorkeling there next Saturday! (amateur and Bucket List). I've noticed that photos online have been very limited, but a friend told me he had seen some YouTube videos. Thanks for showing me what I will be missing, but I am very excited for my trip!

I want that view upward out of the cave with the moss as wallpaper for my computer! LOVED having the text & definition on the screen too. Also, I really like seeing how buddy buddy you and your friends are, always looking out for each other. It's smart to be safe! Can't wait to see more awesome spots!

I took SCUBA training in NC, we did the check out dive in FL where 1 of our stops was Devil's Den. Worth the drive. A cold front came thru, they built fires for us to warm up.

The purpose of the fence is to keep divers from attempting to enter the confined cave areas and potentially getting stuck. I was part of the team of 3 that installed those fences several years ago (I think it was in Feb. 2018). It used to have a lattice of pvc pipes (that I removed when we were installing them), but we installed the metal fencing to be more secure. There are fossils in there, but nothing more interesting that you can find more than the things you see in the main areas so not worth the effort or danger.

They still have an issue with divers attempting to bypass the fences and get behind them and they have to be repaired from time to time. This is especially an issue with non-cave certified divers (who tend to under-estimate the danger), but in general no cave diving is allowed in there beyond some of the easy swim-throughs and if you attempt to bypass or damage the fencing they will ask you to leave.

Hello @Joe Oceanside so that your viewfinder doesn't get steamed before you enter the water, spit saliva on it both inside and outside and rinse the viewfinder
