Welcome to my newest travel vlog from Italy! Parma is known as the cultural capital, but did you know some of the most loved and well-known food products originate from this must-visit Italian city? Parma is a perfect spot for conscious travel if you want to follow the anti-tourist route, making the most of your Italian trip while also contributing to the local community by visiting it. Visit the birthplace of Parma ham (Prosciutto di Parma) and Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano), the staples of Italian food and learn what else to see in this fantastic place (spoiler alert: a Renaissance theatre, a famous art gallery and an ancient library are included)!

I've been to this wonderful city twice. Nowhere near as touristy as many of the cities. Don't miss the cathedral.
