Guys chill it’s just a scenario that’s her sister and her friend. She would never put her hands on a kid and it was just to spread awareness.

Children’s skin is still developing, and it's generally healthy to let it go through its natural changes without the interference of makeup or complex skincare routines. Young skin is typically resilient and less prone to issues that require intensive skincare. Simple routines, like washing with water, are often enough to keep their skin healthy.
Introducing makeup and skincare routines at a young age can inadvertently shift a child’s focus towards their appearance rather than their development and interests. This focus on appearance might lead to issues with self-esteem and body image later in life. Kids should be encouraged to build confidence through their talents, hobbies, and achievements rather than their looks.
Makeup and advanced skincare products are often designed for adults. The ingredients in these products might not be suitable for a child's sensitive skin, potentially leading to irritation or allergic reactions. Moreover, children don’t have the same level of understanding about how to use these products safely.
Promoting healthy habits like good hygiene and a balanced diet is more beneficial than focusing on skincare and makeup. Teaching kids the basics of cleanliness, such as washing their face with water and a gentle soap, and encouraging them to eat well, can lay a foundation for lifelong healthy habits without the need for fancy products.
The marketing of makeup and skincare products to children can foster a materialistic mindset. Encouraging kids to frequent stores like Sephora can create unnecessary consumer desires and pressures. It's more beneficial to teach children about value, self-worth, and non-material sources of happiness.
Children often model their behavior after adults. When makeup and skincare become a focus, it can lead to an emphasis on physical appearance in daily life. Parents setting an example by focusing on inner qualities and personal development rather than appearance can have a more positive impact on their children.
Introducing makeup and complex skincare routines early on can set the stage for unhealthy habits. As children grow, they might feel pressured to maintain certain beauty standards or engage in practices that aren’t suitable for their age.
By focusing on nurturing self-esteem, healthy habits, and personal development, we can help children grow up feeling confident and content without the pressures of adult beauty standards.

I hate how everybody thinks that everybody who messes up the testers are 10-year-olds, it’s not just them and some kids are nice at Sephora.

It’s obviously fake because no one would just go up to someone’s kid and just yank them like that.

My friend’s little sister went to Sephora for the first time, (she’s a well mannered 11 year old, generally really kind) We took her to get her 2 things, because she wanted to try out some makeup for the first time. She was picking up the tester, and this employee is eyeing us and talking to some other employee- She picks up a box as the last of her two items and the employee walks over to all of us and requests us to leave! The employee said my friend’s little sister was “probably going to disrupt the store” and be “a mannerless little child” Sephora kids ruined young girls firsts. Never going again. Ulta’s staff is so much better

Imagine you’re a Sephora kid and a random lady just comes up to you and says go to Claire’s💀💀💀💀

If that happened to me, I think right now I would be serving a 10-year arrest for hitting kids.💀

disclaimer: not all tweens are like this. When I go to Sephora I get dirty looks, don't get treated well, and get whispered about.
Honestly I like going to Sephora for fun, but now I feel like I can't ever go in there. I always feel scared before I go in. Lastly no I don't mess up the testers it's just the kids who don't know how to handle themselves.

Edit: also, does she have the right to record them?

It's the parents fault. Please don't record children, it makes you look a bit like a creep no matter why you're doing it
