What I love about Bo and Jantje is their humility. Just look at their interviews.

Despite creating such a good show, they have no airs, no fancy notions of them being genius gods who do others a favour by making their art.

I remember Jantje mentioning in an interview that she really enjoys watching reaction videos of dark. And she especially likes those reactions where people do not connect with the show or dislike the show. Such grounded people

I have seen so many interviews of technicians, editors, actors and all have praised Bo and Jantje for their professionalism.

I respect these kind of creators much more than the "eccentric geniuses " who put their cast and crew through psychological abuse to make their art and think they are above their audiences

Missed live caught the playback. Thanks for posting the poll on YouTube; that really helps.

Perhaps the “loop” concept is tough to grasp bc we never saw one happen. Claudia mentions it many times. What I think of is Eva says to Adam “You’ve come to kill me, my younger self finds me”. And he doesn’t and she says “This didn’t happen this way. Is this the first time?”

Hey Anthony, I remember in some of your previous posts you've mentioned your love for LOST. This was the first show that made me so interested in the time travel genre, and since you haven't done a LOST and Dark comparison video yet it may be time. I think there are a lot of parallels to be drawn especially since LOST..

[SPOILERS]

....

was perhaps the first show to really nail the "fixed timeline" time travel rules.

Anyway, love the show. Will always tune in.

I also found another “goof”. In season 3 epi 1. Alt Martha takes Jonas to the cave and drops him off. Note- she has make up on. She still has it on when she starts the orb and puts it on the ground. When she raises back up to leave, no make up. There is a version of her with no make up, I think that’s the younger of the Marthas.

Greath video, Anthony! And thanks for your comments :)

As for _Tenet_, (SPOILERS FOLLOW), here my rant: the movie itself shamelessly tells you to not think about it. Lame. You are obviously right, it includes self-consistent time travel (the message is repeated: "what happened, happened"), but its mechanics have huge problems, like you point out: the bullet in the theatre wall makes no f**ing sense. Neither do the bulletholes in the glass, at the Oslo freeport. Were the holes built in when they made the glass? Did they suddenly appear? WTF?

What about the inconsistencies? The bullet's effects ripple back into the past (the glass mends, the wall mends, the shattered car mirror mends, the Protagonist's wound heals), but... Kat or Neil are shot, and the effects ripple out into the future.

And oh, the cars. Unless a car is inverted, an inverted character would have to depend that his future temporal part starts the car and puts it in reverse *in the future* . And cars don't go so fast in reverse gear. So all cars we see speeding backwards must be inverted. However, we see Sator leaving Kat in an empty car. From his POV, he enters a car that is already in motion. How is that car put in motion???

Ehem, sorry about that. LOL
