I did not have a heat gun to pry off the glue that held the old battery, but using metal tweezers worked better than the plastic tools provided in the battery repair kit. Everything else in this video was perfectly explained/demonstrated and worked in my case :)

what is the purpose of making it so complicated ?? in the past, cellphones had a battery cover which we can easily open and take out the battery for replacement, in reality smartphones can also be designed like that.

Thanks for this tutorial because not long after I watch this video I'm seeing a professional on how to replace a swollen battery, I just wanted to see an in-general process of how it works and what they will do because my anxiety is a little sensitive to these kinds of things.

You didn't mention the temperature of the heat gun when seperating the fingerprint sensor from the back cover.

I don't have a heat gun, but a kit comes with the replacement battery from Amazon. Will it have a heat element to take the place of your heat gun, or will something else work?

Thank you so much for this awesome video. I would love to know what kind of glue you use on the touch sensor button? And where can I purchase that kind of glue. I don't want to buy industrial strength glue which would be too strong. Thank you in advance.
