i cant handle my OCD...85% can create anxiety for me, if possible I want it to stay 100% all the time.

That's all great, but is there any video that actually analyses whether it really DOES what it purports to do? How does this extend life?

I’m sorry Samsung engineers, but yes you can, leave your cell phone plugged into your charger as long as you want. And you can charge it to 100% each time without damaging it. The Samsung cell phones have onboard intelligent microcontrollers that protect the battery from any damage. My Samsung Galaxy Mega has been going for 8 years now with no battery problems. My Samsung galaxy A50 cell phone has been going for four years now without any problems. Always charged to 100% and left plugged in every night and sometimes left for days without any problems. So, please provide me with your technical data for me to study as an engineering technologist and I will see if there are any errors. I have designed, built and tested many battery power supplies for 25 years now. Thank-you.

I never charge my iphones overnight. My 12 mini has 88% battery health and 612 charging cycles. I think that’s really good, considering the high cycle count.

I just set Bixby routines to turn on protect battery mode when my phone hits 100 and it cuts off the charging. Works great

If the battery protection function is on at night and while sleeping and the battery is connected to the charger and the phone's charge reaches less than 85%, will the phone start charging again until the percentage reaches 85?

For me this is useful for 5000mAh and 6000mAh Samsung phones like the A and M series for the first few months since you bought it new. Good for preserving lifespan for long term use

Using a Chargie device will do this nice and smooth. Not only 85%, but any level you like and at whatever time you like it. Much more configurable than stock firmware.

What about minimum charge? It would be cool to have a setting like the device once it reaches 25% it turns itself off. I have a Mi Pad 5, we don't have this nice feature btw.

I ran my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with this plus in Saving Mode - for me it is mostly calendar, messages, and camera.. I'm not a gamer, and not toying constantly with my phone - more like a tool, and of course mighty SPen. But question is about to what level I need to discharge my phone, and starting recharging??? Also, as much as I hate, I don't do anymore hooking my phone via cable with my Volvo in order to have Android on my mine screen.. I rather go with Bluetooth to avoid constant 'recharging/partially recharging for the duration of drive'... good, bad idea??

So I had an S9 and just bought an S23 since my phone was no longer updated. I found this feature interesting and cool, but no where is my question answered, how does it go "I NOW REFUSE THE ELECTRICITY".

Had my note 10 plus since launch. Been charging it to 100% since and no problems. But I know iphones and their lithium batteries suck for this kinda thing
