New Google Photos Update Adds Ability to Edit the Day and Time of an Image or Video

Google Photos is getting a new app update that adds a feature which allows you to edit both the date and/or the time or the image/video.

The Google Photos application is used my millions of people but it's missing quite a number of features that image and video gallery apps have had for years.

So in a recent update, Google has added a new feature that gives us the ability to edit either the date or the time (or both) of any photo or video viewed in the app.

It works just as you would expect. Open up an image in the Google Photos app and then swipe up to reveal the details of the file.

From here, you should see an edit icon (looks like a pencil) next to the date and time of the image.

Once you change the date and/or time via Google Photos, save the changes and you'll see the new edit updated.
