What a super little layout and informative commentary. And I agree 100% that 'modeller's license' and a bit of imagination is far preferable to pointlessly obsessing over tiny, obscure details. Well done, and I have a B4 (BR early), on order.

Very interesting and inspiring video. I remember driving into Southampton docks on July 11th 1982 as HMS Canberra had just docked after returning from the Falklands. Soldiers everywhere and the beautiful ship was covered in rust and had a helipad welded on over one of the swimming pools. We were catching the isle Of Wight ferry that day, but it will always stick in my mind.

Hi Mike, found it at last this is a truly amazing video, four great looking loco's I love the Normandy loco, and narration and facts were really amazing and some great shunting movement. When you Look at Normandy, you get the feeling the cab was installed later in their lives. Imagine a cold winter day shunting around the docks.
