Been a while since i last did a review, but i'm back and this time reviewing Dapol's eagerly awaited LSWR B4

This model isn't perfect by all means, there are some room for improvements but it is still a very nice model, and a rather special feature this model has redeems itself

Nice review as usual Peter. However, as short wheelbase locomotives are usually notorious for not being happy over pointwork-especially insulfrog, perhaps in future you might show realistic slow running over a variety of trackwork, bearing in mind that as a dock shunter 10-15mph was probably its limit. The old Dapol/Hornby 0-4-0 ex-L&Y pug was hopeless at slow running, and inevitably failed dismally when shown a point.

I got the Normandy one but for some reason it runs in the opposite direction to my other locos. Eg if I put it on the same track as a different engine there would be a head on collision. Any reason why this is happening ?

Dapol do it well. 2nd review I have seen and all have been impressed with the instruction manual, and it is in Colour! The bigger couplings are for tighter curves. Great detail on the model however, soneone had one which a poor rear number. DAPOL QC at fault.
