I don't understand, I have 128 GB of RAM, and I have a 45 GB+ pagefile if Windows manages. That seems wayyyy too much.

so should I have paging file or not even if I have loads of free ram? I mean does system still use paging file even if you got free space in ram? because I'm getting crashes in game when it is set to automatic but now I set maximum value bigger and it's not crashing anymore. really strange because earlier the game worked fine with the automatic settings.

im using surfacePro with 128gb SSD & 8gbRAM
only have like around 8gb free space in SSD
& i really need more 2~3gb extra ram to run UnrealEngine games
& using SD card .. fail to read in the virtual memory list...

so if doing this virtual memory
on a SSD with 8gb space left
to get 2~3gb extra rams
whats the value's of the
initial size
& maximum size?

im really worried of putting some value that would put me in endless crashs
that i have to reinstall windows

The best thing to do is just not touch this. You will notice ZERO difference by messing around with it. Windows self manages the size of your page file. This auto setting works fine.
